Slow-rise squishies use a denser polyurethane foam with a closed cell structure. Air re-enters slowly after you compress it, so the toy takes three to ten seconds to return to shape. Cheaper instant-rise foam springs back immediately and feels less satisfying to most people.
Are squishy toys safe for toddlers?
