We are a small independent guide to squishy, sensory and fidget toys. We do not manufacture or sell anything.
What this site is
The squishy toy category on Amazon is enormous, largely unbranded, and almost impossible to browse — thousands of near-identical listings with keyword-stuffed titles. Mushytoys exists to impose a structure on it: 254 real products, sorted into 8 categories and 28 subcategories, ranked by how much they actually sell and how well they actually rate.
How we choose
We start from Amazon sales-rank research across the whole squishy, sensory and fidget space, then filter to products that genuinely belong in the category. We rank primarily by estimated monthly unit sales and secondarily by review score and review volume. We include products with poor review scores when they sell heavily, and we say so on the page rather than quietly dropping them.
What we do not do
We do not invent products, we do not publish fake reviews, and we do not claim to have physically tested every toy — we have not. Where we describe how a material behaves, that is general product knowledge, not a hands-on test report. If we ever start testing, we will say so explicitly and mark those pages.
How we make money
Affiliate commission from Amazon, and nothing else. If you buy through a link here, Amazon pays us a small percentage and you pay exactly the same price. No brand pays for placement or ranking. See the full disclosure.
